About me

A psychologist
who meets you
where you are

I am a clinical psychologist based in Weltevreden Park, with extensive experience working across a variety of contexts — including psychiatric institutions, forensic settings, and general hospitals. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of psychological, emotional, and relational challenges.

My passion for the field of psychology started at a young age and was confirmed through various life experiences. I began my studies in 2011 at the University of South Africa, and went on to complete a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (formerly MEDUNSA).

This broad clinical background has given me a deep appreciation for the unique needs and strengths that each person brings to therapy — and a firm commitment to tailoring my approach accordingly.

I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups across all ages, with a particular interest in adults and adolescents. I have a special passion for couples therapy, where I help partners navigate challenges, improve communication, and build more resilient relationships.

My approach

Therapy tailored
to you, always

My therapeutic approach is grounded in client-centred and psychodynamic principles, while drawing on an integration of evidence-based tools. I believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all — I tailor every intervention to suit the specific goals and circumstances of each person I work with.

01
Client-Centred
You set the pace and the goals. My role is to walk alongside you — not to prescribe a predetermined path, but to support the journey you want to take.
02
Psychodynamic
Understanding how your past shapes your present — patterns, defences, and relational dynamics — opens the door to deeper, lasting change.
03
Evidence-Based
Integrated techniques drawn from CBT, mindfulness, and other research-supported frameworks are woven in where they are most beneficial for you.
04
Non-Judgemental
A safe, confidential, and supportive space where you feel genuinely heard — without judgement, without agenda.
05
Flexible
No rigid protocol. As your goals and circumstances evolve, the approach adapts — because real life rarely follows a textbook.
06
Collaborative
Therapy works best as a partnership. You are the expert on your own experience; I bring the clinical lens. Together, we make progress.
